    The Managing Director of Topline Limited, and Conference Chairman of PETAN’s Sub-Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC), Mr. Chinedu Maduakoh has affirmed that SAIPEC is a flagship event providing in-country opportunities for service providers, investors, as well as powering regional partnerships for local content practice in the execution of projects across Africa.
  • Sub-Saharan Africa has for decades been a cornerstone for oil and gas project opportunities and investments and is the largest contributor to the continent’s hydrocarbon exploration and production. Regarded as one of the final global frontier regions for oil and gas exploration, it’s no secret that Sub-Saharan Africa is the driving force for Africa’s oil and gas industry.
  • PETAN Chairman, Mr. Nicolas Odinuwe has once again, reiterated the commitment of PETAN to the drive for African Local Content, saying that the collaboration between PETAN and the Mozambican Local Content Association ACLM, is unique because both bodies were borne out of necessity to raise the stakes within the African energy, oil and gas industry.
  • The Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), has extended its existing partnership with international event organiser, GEP, across its portfolio of conferences, summits, and exhibitions, working together to promote and enhance African and international collaborations across the globe.

  • PETAN Chairman, Mr. Nicolas Odinuwe has been reelected for another two years. His reelection, as well as most other members of the PETAN EXCO took place earlier today during the Association’s first Quarterly Annual General Meeting. His tenure will now run till March 2024.

    The Chairman of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), Mr. Nicolas Odinuwe, has said that the Sub-Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC) creates huge opportunities for regional collaboration and partnerships.

  • With the growing demand for local content development in the Nigerian oil and gas industry, the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN)  has created a new investment focus to develop strategies on strengthening the Nigerian and African  content to other sectors of the economy.
  • Woji Weli holds the position of Country Manager for BW Offshore Nigeria Limited, based in Lagos. He previously worked as an oil and gas facilities design engineer, project manager and asset manager for Shell with assignments in Nigeria, the US and France. He was a pioneer staff of Shell’s deep-water organization in Nigeria and saw through the company’s first deep water field development in country from licensing to production.
