Unlocking Africa’s Energy Future through AfCFTA:

Organised by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), the Nigerian Local Content (AfCFTA) Energy Summit will take place ahead of SAIPEC 2026, with the theme Unlocking Africa’s Energy Future through AfCFTA: Trade, Innovation and Regional Integration.
The objectives of the summit are:
- Improve awareness: Improve awareness among Nigerian oil and gas service companies on the benefits, opportunities, and procedures for engaging in B2B agreements and cross border trade under AfCFTA.
- Facilitate networking: Foster knowledge sharing and networking opportunities between Nigerian service providers and their counterparts from other African countries to explore mutually beneficial collaborations and partnerships.
- Capacity building: Highlight capacity-building imperatives needed to enhance the competitiveness and readiness of Nigerian oil and gas service companies achieve the desired mileage in the implementation of AfCFTA.
