Nidra Yebuah is a seasoned professional with over ten years of experience in the geosciences division of the energy industry. She holds a BSc (First Class Honors) in Geology and an MSc Petroleum Geoscience – both from the University of Ghana.

Her passion for governance of the extractives industry led to a brief stint as a Policy Analyst for Extractives where she engaged in research on mining and petroleum to aid the organization’s advocacy work. Her transition to the core energy industry took place in 2012 and she has since gained extensive technical experience working on data across the Sub-Saharan African region. As the SLB Digital and Integration Account Manager for Ghana and Equatorial Guinea, she is currently responsible for developing and executing sales strategies whilst serving as an advisor to clients to jointly identify their issues and proffer technologically fit-for-purpose solutions.

Nidra is a strong advocate for worthy causes including gender equity, diversity, and inclusion at the workplace. She is also an advocate for sustainability and believes the core energy industry has a significant role to play in achieving climate change targets. She also believes Africa stands to benefit from leveraging digital technologies and solutions as massive opportunities exists within the continent and the positive impact of addressing these opportunities extends beyond the energy industry.

Her personal conviction has led her to volunteer in various capacities in organizations such as SPE and AAPG. Ultimately, her greatest passion is coaching and mentoring younger colleagues on their career journey.
