BIOGRAPHY (Early Life)
Mr. Julius Dediare Rone, OFR, was Born on the 25th of June 1968 into the family of Chief S. S. Rone, The Obazuaye of Warri Kingdom, in Delta State of Nigeria.
BIOGRAPHY (EDUCATION)
In 1986 Mr. Julius D. Rone had his First School leaving certificate from Mowoe Primary School, Warri, Delta State. He then proceeded to Uwangue College, Warri, Delta State, where
he obtained his Senior School leaving certificate in 1992. He studied and acquired an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife in 1998.
BIOGRAPHY (CAREER)
Mr. Rone worked as a Protocol Assistant at OMPADEC From 1995 – 2000 and in the year 2000- 2008 he worked with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) as the Protocol Assistant to the Chairman. From 2008 till date, he has been the Group Managing Director, UTM Group of Companies.
Mr. Rone is a seasoned Administrator & Industrialist with vast experience spanning over a decade in both the public & private sectors of the Nigerian economy, as a major player in the oil & gas space. He is a trail blazer; strategic thinker: an example of Servant Leadership that has led to his involvement in extra ordinary projects with sustainable future.
Mr. President’s agenda for the full utilization of the country’s enormous gas resources to drive industrialization, has led Mr. Rone, to champion the establishment of the First Floating
Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) Facility. UTM is the first wholly owned Nigerian Company in Africa to venture into a project of this magnitude. It is expected that the FLNG facility, will
create employment for at least 15,000 Nigerians from across the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria when fully on stream and this speaks volume of Mr. Rone as a detribalized Nigerian.

Mr. Rone is married to MRS. Utibe Rone (Nee: Umoh) and is blessed with Three Children.
