Engr. Emeka Okwuosa is a seasoned engineer, administrator, entrepreneur and visionary with over 40 years of post-graduation experience in engineering and management. His expertise encompasses a diverse range of areas, including maintenance and operations, teaching, wireline logging and interpretation, seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation, pipeline and facilities engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), project management, and drilling and drilling services. Throughout his career, he has actively engaged in these activities across various regions, including Europe, North Africa, West Africa, the Gulf of Guinea/Central Africa, and South East Asia.


Emeka serves as the founder and Chairman/GCEO of several companies that have successfully executed numerous intricate multi-billion US$ pipeline and facilities projects within the oil and gas sector of the economy.

A COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering) registered engineer, he is a member of the following professional bodies;

Alongside the conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Engineering (D.Eng) from Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) and an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) in 2016, he has garnered numerous accolades worldwide for his distinguished contributions to the field of engineering. Notably, these awards have been bestowed upon him throughout his exemplary career in engineering practice;

  • National Productivity Order of Merit Award (NPOM) in 2017,
  • Award of Excellence by the Physics Department of the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2006,

He serves as the founder of the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation (SEOF), a philanthropic organization that has made significant contributions to various sectors, including education, road infrastructure, erosion control, provision of portable water, and electricity infrastructure. Notably, the foundation has successfully established a state-of-the-art cardiothoracic specialist hospital in Oraifite, Anambra State, known as the Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Hospital (DIOMH). Additionally, in honor of his late mother, a Four (4) floor Administration/Classroom block at the Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent (DIOMeCo), Oraifite – Anambra State.
