General Manager – Nigerian Content, Ventures and Regulatory Affairs, Chevron Nigeria Limited

Edwina Pafagha Kentebe-Oluwakayode is the General Manager, Nigerian Content, Ventures & Regulatory Affairs of the Nigeria/Mid-Africa (NMA) business unit for Chevron International Exploration and Production, a role she assumed in 2022. She is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

In this role, she oversees the interactions with NNPC Limited, the Nigerian Content Development & Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Nigerian Maritime Administration & Safety Agency (NIMASA), and the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), among others.

Edwina joined Chevron in 1993 and has since then held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Deep Water, Escravos-Gas-To-Liquids (EGTL) and Joint Venture Relations in Nigeria, United Kingdom, and Angola.

Edwina received her bachelor and master’s degrees in Biochemistry and Biochemical Pharmacology from University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom and Southampton University, United Kingdom respectively, where she co-authored two scientific publications in renowned scientific journals.

Edwina is married with Children. Her hobbies include Reading, Traveling and Cooking.
