Mrs Chinyere Princess Offor
Chinyere Princess Offor is currently a Surface Asset Engineer with ExxonMobil. Prior to her current role, she had been an Execution Planning Engineer and a Contracts Planning Engineer with ExxonMobil.
She has over seven years industry experience spanning Petroleum Engineering, Project Management, Business Development and Contracts & Procurement.
She is a PhD candidate in Petroleum Economics, Management and Policy at Emerald Energy Institute, Nigeria. She holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering & Project Development from Institute of Petroleum Studies, Nigeria and a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Covenant University, Nigeria.
She continues to make outstanding contributions within & beyond her industry leading high-level discussions on Energy Sustainability, mentoring young professionals/students, promoting STEM education, championing Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and organizing various professional development programs.
She is passionate about promoting Energy Literacy and thus she has facilitated and moderated high-level discussions on Energy Sustainability attracting the participation of various stakeholders across the Energy Value chain. She is a sought-after speaker and presenter for energy and soft-skill related topics. Most recently, she delivered a technical presentation on “Best practices in FPSO Asset Operations: Maintenance, Optimizing and Upgrading” for 2023 FPSO Africa Congress organized by IQPC Worldwide Pte Ltd in Nov 2023. She also led the execution of SPE Lagos@50 Technical lecture on “Building a Profitable & Resilient Energy Future for Lagos State: Oil & Gas as an Enabler” in March 2023.

- Facilitator & Moderator for the premier Post-graduate Student Workshop Series organized by Emerald Energy Institute on “Implications of Energy Transition on Undeveloped Oil and Gas Assets in Nigeria” which held in January 2022
- Moderator for SPE Nigeria Annual International Conference and Exhibition (NAICE) 2021 Young Professional Workshop tagged "Energy Sustainability and the Oil and Gas Industry: Threats and Opportunities to the Young Professional" which held in August 2021
Her passion for volunteerism is unmatched. Volunteering as a Technical secretary with ExxonMobil Nigeria Women Interest Network, she led a team to plan & execute the “Introduce a Girl to Engineering & Geoscience Day” in Feb 2023. Within the Society of Petroleum Engineers, she has been a pillar of support at the local, regional and international level taking on various high-profile activities in a leadership capacity which culminated in her becoming a recipient of the highly coveted SPE Giovanni Paccaloni Young Professional Service Award in 2022 and Africa Regional Young Professional Member Outstanding Service Award in 2021.
She is a particular inspiration to Girls in STEM and continues to give back to her community.
