Doctor Amadou Hassane is a Petroleum Geophysicist, Expert in petroleum exploration, reservoirs evaluation and management. He did several university degree in the field of petroleum. He successively obtained a B. Tech. degree in Applied Geophysics of the Abubacar Tafawa Belewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, Nigeria in 2004, a M. Sc. degree in Petroleum Geophysics of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Nigeria in 2015, a Doctorate in Petroleum Geophysics (PhD) of the University of Port Harcourt (UPH), Port Harcourt, Nigeria 2022. He is also a holder of a Certificate of Expertise in Upstream Petroleum Economics and Management obtained in Morocco. He participated in several capacity development training courses and advanced seminars in the field of the oil and gas in Africa, Europe and Asia. Among which, the University of Petroleum Beijing (UPB) in China, where he perfected his skills in oil and gas exploration, production, transportation, refining, economics and management, contract negotiation as well as management of the environmental and social impact of oil and gas operation. The Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI) Palakkad, India, where he perfected his skills in Oil and Gas Flow Measurement and Control Techniques & Standards. He also did graduate internship in the Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) where he joined a multidisciplinary team responsible for the development, production and management of oil and gas fields in offshore Niger Delta. Employee of the Ministry of Petroleum since the beginning of his career in 2004, Dr. Amadou Hassane has acquired several years of experience in his field of competence, but also in the fields of petroleum economics, legislation, taxation and fields management. He successively occupied the positions of Petroleum Geophysicist, Head of the Petroleum Exploration Department and Senior Petroleum Geophysicist in the Direction General of Hydrocarbons. He is a member of several technical and advisory committees in the field of oil and gas within the Ministry. He is a visiting lecturer at the Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey (UAM) and at the School of Mines, Industry and Geology (EMIG) of Niamey. Dr. Amadou Hassane has delivered several communication during seminars, workshops and conferences in Niger and abroad. He has three (03) scientifics publications in renowned international journals to his credit. He is an expert in the upstream oil and gas value chain
