Olanrewaju (Lanre) Kalejaiye was appointed Chief Executive Officer ND Western in May 2024. He joined ND Western in February 2024 as Senior Vice President/ Board Technical Advisor.

Lanre has over 38 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers and holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. 

Prior to joining ND Western, Lanre worked in various technical, operations and leadership capacities for Chevron in Nigeria and the United States. His fields of experience include Process/ Facilities Engineering, Petroleum/ Production Engineering, Operations, Gas Projects, Gas Commercial, Health Safety and Environment (HSE) and Human Resources/ Talent Management.

Lanre’s leadership roles while at Chevron included General Manager Operations, General Manager HSE, General Manager Gas and Executive Director Human Resources. He also served on the Boards of Chevron Nigeria Limited and the Chevron Nigeria Pension Company. He was also Chairman OPTS Gas Sub-Committee and member governing council of West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCo) and the Gas Aggregation Company of Nigeria (GACN).
