Mrs. Lilian Oluchi Somiari is the General Manager, Strategy, Organization and Performance at TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria and a Masters in Global HR Management from the University of Liverpool, UK.
She started her career as an IT Network Systems Engineer and later made a career change to Human Resources. With over 24 years multinational experience in HR and business process improvement, Lilian has worked in various capacities and today, she leads a multi-disciplinary team of people managing Human Resources (HR) processes & technology, people strategy formulation, organizational design, recruitment and manpower planning, regulatory intelligence/liaison, performance management and reward systems. She is also responsible for the diversity, equity and inclusion function, driving wellbeing and a good-place-to-work initiatives.
As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) and an industry thought Leader, she has contributed to the improvement of the HR discipline / practice and continues to mentor and coach young professionals to build capacity for Nigeria. She is also a Chartered Member of the CIPD UK.
Lilian supports several foundations and NGOs committed to improving wellbeing of members of our society while also contributing to capacity building initiatives in various communities.
