Karim Coulibaly
Karim COULIBALY is the Deputy General Manager in charge of Administration and Finance at PETROCI Holding, Ivory Coast’s National Oil Company.
With more than 20 years of experience in finance, auditing, and the energy sector, he is recognized for his strong leadership and strategic vision.
Before joining PETROCI, Karim spent ten years at FOXTROT International—Ivory Coast’s leading natural gas producer – where he served as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. From 2015 to 2024, he also chaired ENERCI, the joint venture between PETROCI and FOXTROT, overseeing strategic operations in the national gas sector.
He began his career at Mazars Côte d’Ivoire, rising to Senior Manager in Audit and Consulting and developing deep expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and corporate governance across multiple African markets.
Over the years, Karim has built strong proficiency in upstream oil and gas operations, particularly in exploration and production (E&P) contracts, joint operating agreements, and complex multi‑stakeholder environments.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting, along with an Executive PMD Certificate from MDE Business School (Abidjan) and IESE Business School (Barcelona).
