Iroghama Ogbeifun

Managing Director and CEO, Starz Investments Company Limited

Iroghama Ogbeifun is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Starzs Investments Company Limited, where she oversees the management and operations of a fleet of eleven ships operating in deep offshore Nigerian waters to support the oil exploration and production activities of international oil companies.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology, as well as an MSc in Public Health. She is an alumnus of Harvard Business School's OPM Programme, and she has certifications in Commercial Risk in Shipping from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and in ABC of Shipping from the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping.

In addition to Iroghama’s role at Starzs Investments Company, she is the Vice Chairman of Starzs Gas Limited and a Director at Eaglewatch Security Limited. Additionally, she serves as Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Ship Owners Association of Nigeria (SOAN), a Board Trustee of The R.E.A.C.H Nigeria Foundation, a Board member of Lagos Liga, and a Member of the Governing Board of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

A passionate advocate for women in the energy sector, she is a Founding Member and Sponsorship Director of the Women in Energy Network (WIEN). She is a Member of the Institute of Directors (IOD), a Fellow of the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), and an Associate Member of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ). She is also a Patron of the Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) and a member of GAIA Africa.

Iroghama is a serial entrepreneur who founded Hairven, a beauty brand that includes salons, a spa, a makeup studio, and a line of hair care products. She is also the founder of Stratom Concept Limited, a multifaceted company with strategic interests in logistics, construction, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods, operating multiple branches across Lagos and Rivers States.

In 2013, she emerged as the winner of the maiden edition of The Next Titan Entrepreneurial Reality TV Show. Since then, she has received numerous awards recognising her business skills. These include two Eagle Awards for YoungEntrepreneur of the Year; the Outstanding Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the Entrepreneur Africa Awards 2021; and The Most Respected CEO in Nigeria 2022 in the Maritime category. She was also named Amazon of the Maritime Industry 2022, received the Oil Industry Trendsetter Award 2022, and was recognised for Exemplary Leadership in Entrepreneurship at the Peak Performing Woman of the Year Awards 2023. That same year, she was honoured as Business Leader of the Year 2023 in the international open competition organised by the International Achievements Research Centre.

In 2024, she received the Rising Star of the Year Award at the 24th NOG Energy Week and was also honoured as Entrepreneur of the Year for Business Expansion and Consolidation at the 9th Annual Nigeria Credit Industry Awards. Most recently, in 2025, she received the Women in Leadership Award for Promoting Women Empowerment, presented by the NCDMB in collaboration with Sweetcrude Reports at the Nigerian Oil & Gas Opportunity Fair.

She is a mother to beautiful twin girls and is dedicated to the growth of female entrepreneurs, a passion she fosters through mentorship and support.
