Ibinabo Alamina is a Senior Manager, Human Resources in Chevron Nigeria Limited. She is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Prior to this position, she was the Manager, Administration & Services where she was responsible for the Talent Acquisition strategy and execution, Benefits Administration, Expatriate Administration and the HRIS functions.

Ibinabo joined Chevron in 2007 as a Total Remunerations Analyst. Over her 18-year career with Chevron, she has served in diverse roles across Nigeria and internationally. Her recent leadership assignments include Manager, Planning, Cost and Workforce Engagement, Senior Advisor to the HR&M Director, Nigeria Mid-Africa; and Senior HR Advisor, Technology, Projects and Services, San Ramon. She has also served in leadership roles in the Women’s Employee Network (WEN) championing inclusion and employee development.

Before joining Chevron, she built foundational experience in the financial services sector and in consulting. She began her Human Resources journey in Accenture.

Ibinabo holds a Bachelor’s (Hons.) degree in Economics from the University of Jos, Nigeria and a master’s degree in human resources management from Cornell University’s ILR School. She is a Chartered member of the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) and a certified Global Professional in Human resources (GPHR). She is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Ibinabo is passionate about education, leadership and people excellence. She is married with a daughter and enjoys learning, home improvement projects, and a good rest!
