Ehimhen Agunloye

General Manager, Development & Subsurface, Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited

Ehimhen Agunloye is the General Manager, Development & Subsurface at Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, leading a diverse onshore and shallow-water portfolio producing ~250+ kb/d of oil and ~2+ bscf/d of gas. She oversees a 150+ member technical organization, delivering integrated subsurface development, reservoir management, well delivery, asset optimization, and full-cycle reserves assurance.

Prior to this role, she served as Business Opportunity Manager for Export Gas & Onshore Oil Projects, where she delivered the NLNG Trains 1–6 onshore new gas projects and raised the gas supply from ~1.2 to 2.2 bscf/d within 3 years, improved delivery of liquids through TNP from less than 1% to over 80% with a strategic crude theft improvement plan, and through Alternative Funding, she delivered a $1.5bln, 15 wells Southern Swamp Associated Gas oil project.

With 21+ years of experience across Nigeria and the Gulf of Mexico, she has led major development and asset projects and contributed extensively to several international conferences such as NIES, NAPE, SAIPEC, SPE, WGLC, and other industry platforms, including delivering several technical papers and holding key leadership SPE positions.

Ehimhen holds a first-class Chemical Engineering degree, a master’s from Cambridge University, UK, and an MBA from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and is registered with COREN and NSE. She enjoys reading non-fiction books and listening to her daily doses of podcasts. She is an avid runner and has completed 36 full marathons including the 90km Comrades marathon. She is a mother to two kids, ages 10 and 12.
