I am PhD holder in Petroleum Geophysics from University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and followed several universities training in the field of hydrocarbons. I successively obtained a B. Tech. in Applied Geophysics at Abubacar Tafawa Belewa University (ATBU) Bauchi, Nigeria in 2004, and a Master degree in Petroleum Geophysics (MSc.) in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Nigeria.

I participated in several training courses and advanced seminars in the field of the petroleum and energy sector in Africa, Europe and Asia, notably in China at the University of Petroleum Beijing, Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting (BGP) Research Institute Zhuozhou, Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development (RIPED), Bejing where I developed my skills in seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation techniques ; reservoir Modeling, exploration, production, pipeline, refining, economics and management ;contract negotiation and management of the environmental and social impact of petroleum operations, and in India at Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI) Palakkad where I perfected my skills in flow measurement, standards and control techniques of oil and gas. I also developed my skills in Chevron Nigeria Limited where he joined a multidisciplinary team as graduate intern responsible for the development, production and management of offshore Nigeria oil fields. Accomplished Senior Petroleum Geoscientist with extensive experience at the Ministry of Petroleum where I am serving since the beginning of my career in 2004, I acquired several years of experience in my field of expertise, but also in the fields of energy, legislation, economics, taxation and of oil management. I successively held the position of Petroleum Geophysicist Engineer, Head of the Petroleum Exploration Division and the position of Director General of Hydrocarbons. I was also a member of several technical and advisory committees in the field of oil, gas and energy within the ministry.

I am a visiting lecturer in the Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey (UAM), Adré Salifou University of Zinder and the School of Mines, Industry and Geology (EMIG) all in Niger Republic. I participate in several seminars, workshops and conferences in Niger and abroad, and published four (04) scientific papers in renowned international journals. I’m an expert in geosciences and energy.
