Mr Abiodun Ogunjobi

Abiodun Ogunjobi, FNAPE, is the Group Chief Technical Officer of Pan Ocean - Newcross Group, where he is responsible for the group's technical functions and development activities. With a master's degree in Geology and consistent career advancement and professional development, he advanced from the post of Geoscience Manager, where he was responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing all asset development activities, to the group Chief Technical Officer. With a strong background in exploration, production, reservoir management, and project planning, his expertise extends to new business development, joint venture oversight, and crisis management.

Abiodun holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Ibadan. An MBA in Oil and Gas Management from the Aberdeen company enhanced his understanding of organizational management, corporate strategic planning, human management, and the impact of technological advancements on business productivity.

Abiodun Ogunjobi is a distinguished professional with a proven track record in steering oil and gas projects, driving growth, and optimizing operations across the value chain. His strategic leadership, technical expertise, and extensive experience make him an asset in the energy industry.

He is the President and Fellow of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), the largest organization of geoscientists in Nigeria, and memberships of other professional bodies.

He is a certified geologist (COMEG), Certified Petroleum Geologist (CPG), and an alumnus of the Aberdeen Business School. He is married with children.
